Puente Mayorga

The LAB production plant in Puente Mayorga, located in Cadiz, Spain, is one of the world's most important facilities in the chemical industry dedicated to the manufacture of detergent and home care products. Our facility in Cadiz is powered by 100% renewable energy.

Puente Mayorga also won a prize at the 2025 COASHIQ Sustainability Awards for its project to recover sulfuric acid as waste for industrial use. In addition to LAB, our facility also produces n-paraffins, heavy alkylate (HAB), and linear alkyl benzene sulfonic acid (LABSA), which are key ingredients in the formulation of detergents and other industrial products.

Sustainability at the heart of production processes

First LAB plant in the world to be ISCC PLUS certified for incorporating bio-based, biocircular, and circular raw materials into its processes.

It is also the first LAB plant that combines the manufacturing of RSPO-certified products, along with the use of renewable energy in the process (in-house Low Carbon certification), which allows us to offer products with a lower environmental impact such as NextLab-R-Low Carbon.
