About Nextphenol/Phenol/Acetone
We are the world's largest cumene
producer and the second largest
phenol producer thanks to our plants
in Palos de la Frontera (Spain) and
Shanghai (China).
In addition, we are pioneers in the
incorporation of sustainable raw
material in its manufacture, thus
creating the new range of phenol:
NextPhenol.
Phenol and acetone's fields of
application range from insulation and
coatings to medicines, disinfectants,
food additives, and solvents. We also
work with alpha-methyl styrene (AMS)
to produce plastics and with cumene
to produce surfactants, propylene
oxide, and gasoline additives
