Petrene 900-Q

Aromatic oil, composed mainly of dialkylbenzenes. It is a product obtained in the production process of linear alkylbenzene (LAB).

Its versatility and properties as a heavy alkylate make it especially suitable for applications that require lubrication and heat transfer. It is used as a lubricant and thermal oil for heat transfer; as a dielectric fluid in transformers; as an additive that improves the properties of diesel; as a solvent for alkytrans or inks; and as an additive in the treatment of surfaces of metals or plastic materials. Once sulfonated, it is also used as a surfactant for oils.
